On December 15th, we finished the first Piscine in the history of 42 Warsaw! 🎉
These were incredible 4 weeks: full of coding, educational challenges, new friendships, and often even good fun. Here’s a recap:
- – 4 exams,
- – 35 events,
- – over 3000 project evaluations,
- – and 95 individuals who persevered until the end of the ‘pool’ and took on the final 8-hour exam last Friday. 🙌🏻
Let’s take a closer look at these numbers:
– 35 events in 4 weeks? It’s no joke! Piscine is an intensive time of learning programming, but also understanding the 42 educational model, building a community, and engaging with the IT world. That’s why there were meetings with the campus partner (Play), Q&A events, and board game nights.
-
– Every Friday in Piscine, an exam took place. Exams (both during Piscine and in later stages of learning at 42) are moments to assess oneself and what we’ve learned in the past week.
-
– Over 3000 mutual project evaluations and the successful completion of projects are evidence that peer-to-peer learning works and brings results! The number of 95 participants in the final exam speaks for itself 🙂
Thank you to all Piscine participants for having the courage to jump into this pool! 🏊♂️ The end of the first Piscine is also a moving and important beginning of the next stage of campus activity. ✨ That’s why we are thrilled that we could spend this last evening together celebrating your educational successes and the successful practical inauguration of 42 Warsaw campus!
