42 Warsaw is a tuition-free, project-based programming school. We prepare the next generation of software engineers for an AI-driven world.
We are open to everyone who is at least 18 years old, ready to learn through practice and study on-site in English. To apply, you should be curious, motivated, and have logical thinking skills. No coding experience or degree is required.
HOW DOES THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS WORK?
Recruitment is open all year round, with some fixed-stage dates.
Here’s how to join us, step by step:
1. PLAY THE GAME
Create an account in the Apply portal and try our two-part online game. You’ll need at least 2 hours to play, so find a quiet place to focus, as the game cannot be paused or restarted. If you pass, we will invite you to the Introduction Meeting.
When? Anytime during the year.
2. JOIN THE INTRODUCTION MEETING
If you perform well enough in the games, we’ll invite you to an Introduction Meeting. You’ll learn more about studying at 42 Warsaw: the curriculum, the application process, and daily life on our campus.
When? Upcoming sessions are scheduled for:
- July 6 | 4 PM (online)
- August 4 | 4 PM (online)
- September 8 | 4 PM (online)
- October 8 | 4 PM (online)
- November 4 | 4 PM (online)
- December 7 | 4 PM (online)
- December 29 | 4 PM (online)

Duration time: up to an hour.
3. PARTICIPATE IN THE PISCINE
The Piscine (French for “swimming pool”) is an immersive four-week training on campus that will give you a taste of the way we work. Please note that all Piscines take place fully on-site, on our campus, with no option for remote participation.
When?
Piscine I: from November 16th to December 11th (2026)
Piscine II: from January 18th to February 12th (2027)
4. TIME FOR THE KICK OFF!
If you successfully complete the Piscine, you are ready to start your journey as a student at 42 Warsaw.
When?
The kick-off will take place on March, 1st, 2027.
