We have started the Piscine, the on-site phase of admission for our campus.
146 individuals from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and nationalities have dived into the coding Piscine!
The Piscine began on Monday, 20th November at 8:42, with participants eagerly lining up from the very first minutes to commence their coding voyage. They immediately started coding, and we’re excited to see peer-to-peer learning in action, with Pisciners quickly grasping the essence of this learning model.
At the Hello Meeting on Tuesday afternoon, we gathered in the Auditorium to officially launch the bootcamp, further break the ice (though it had already been melting due to peer-to-peer education), and review the campus rules to ensure everyone enjoys their time here.
Following that, we took a break from the coding tasks to enjoy some board games.
We’re gradually gearing up for Friday’s exam, which we acknowledge might be nerve-wracking for the Pisciners. However, we’re dedicated to empowering them to have confidence in their abilities and to understand that the exams are opportunities for self-reflection on their learning process and merely a checkpoint in their larger journey.
